My experience includes work as a professional musician, music engineer and music
producer. I worked for many years as recording engineer for Ken Nordine (of “Word
Jazz” fame) and have performed on, engineered and helped create and produce hundreds of creative masterpieces and commercial
music tracks for both The Nordine Groop and Libman Music in Chicago. I
first became involved in music recording as a student at Northern Illinois University, where I recorded hundreds of student
and faculty performances. I was honored twice by Downbeat magazine with "Outstanding Performance" awards for my
recording work. In my professional career, I've recorded, edited, mixed and mastered recordings
by dozens of artists including: Ken Nordine, Paul Libman, Howard Levy, Bonnie Koloc, Bob Bowker, The Lakeside Singers and
the Chicago Chamber Choir. As
a Pro Tools instructor, I've taught Pro Tools software to hundreds of students, teachers and audio professionals at Digidesign
authorized Electric Lounge Pro School since 2005. I've participated in yearly Pro Tools Instructor Summit meetings since January,
2006. Joel Fox Resume Highlights:
